Margaret Tseng, Accounting and Program Assistant

Margaret is a new volunteer in the BRANCH family, assisting in its accounting capacity. Currently a student at Columbia University’s School of Public Health, she is pursuing a master degree in public health with concentration on health policy and management.  Before coming to New York City, she worked at public accounting firms in both Boston, MA and Taipei, Taiwan.

She hopes to one day utilize her business background to aid those without access to safe and affordable food. Similarly, she hopes to leverage her undergraduate degree in accounting to promote and aid BRANCH’s mission.

BRANCH Translation Project
Margaret has recruited a team of Masters in Public Health and Medical students to translate BRANCH's ICANHELP Curriculum into Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Sandra India Alda (Columbia MPH '17) is translating to Spanish, Tara Chadab (Georgetown MD '19) is translating to French, and Catarina Abreu (Columbia MPH, '17) is translating to Portuguese. All of them are volunteering their time, amid their busy studies, to help ensure that ICANHELP can reach professionals across many more countries!
