Growing One Stop Centres Across Malawi
Dr. Beatrice Mwagomba, Chief of Non-Communicable Diseases for the Malawi Ministry of Health, has taken leadership for Malawi's plans to create 28 one stop centres for child abuse and domestic violence.
BRANCH's founder, Dr. Aaron Miller, was awarded a consultancy by UNICEF 2014-2016 to partner with the Malawi Ministry of Health and the College of Medicine to develop their capacity to grow Malawi's one stop centres.
Pictured above is the interview room at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital One Stop Centre in Blantyre, Malawi, which Dr. Miller did the training and consulting for in 2009 and 2010. The centre started serving families in 2012 and had its ribbon cutting in 2013.
